Problem solving

For verification, it is recommended (if possible) to establish a connection through an alternative provider, for example, a mobile     network. Most modern smartphones allow, when connected by cable to a PC, to distribute the Internet through it, or via Wi-Fi in the case of a laptop

The order of connection in the presence of own VKS equipment

The VCS system can be any type of device: Cisco (Tandberg), Sony, Polycom, LifeSize, etc. A mandatory requirement is to connect to the Internet at a real IP address and work on the video protocol H.323.

The procedure is as follows:

  • 2.1. Inform the IP address of the VKS terminal/server (the real IP address), the contact phone number of the technical specialist providing VKS service during the conference, to the VKS operators

Technical support +7 965 202-17-04 e-mail: vc.support@mumcfm.ru

  • 2.2. Check the connection with the use of the VCS equipment no later than 1 day before the start date of the event.

For secure networks it is very important to keep in mind the following aspects:

For correct operation, it is necessary to allow all incoming and outgoing requests to the ip address: 212.100.153.131 by ports:

— for SIP connections TCP/UDP 443, 5060, UDP 20000-65000

— for H.323-TCP/UDP connections 443, 1720, 1719, UDP 20000-65000
