CHFIUs

The Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS Member States (hereinafter referred to as the Council, CHFIUs) was set up pursuant to the Agreement on Establishment of the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS Member States signed on December 5, 2012 in Ashgabat. The Council includes 7 CIS member states: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

CHFIUs carry out its activities in cooperation with the CIS Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as the CIS Executive Committee), the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), other CIS authorities, and, if necessary, the working (executive) bodies of international organizations, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and FATF-style regional bodies (FSRBs), as well as public authorities of the CIS member states.
