On June 28, 2022, the ITMCFM organized a workshop in a remote format on the topic "Interaction of the FIU with Law Enforcement Agencies when Conducting Financial Investigations in the Line of Countering the Laundering of Criminal Proceeds."
The event was attended by over 500 employees of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The expert lecturer was O. Tisen, Doctor of Law, Head of the Legal Department of Rosfinmonitoring, who highlighted the following issues in her speech:
- conducting financial investigations in the line of countering the laundering of criminal proceeds;
- interaction of the financial intelligence unit with law enforcement agencies when conducting financial investigations in the line of countering the laundering of criminal proceeds;
countering crimes committed using modern payment instruments.
