From August 22 to 25, the workshop "International AML/CFT System: Current State and Current Directions of Development" for young specialists of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring was held remotely by the ITMCFM.
The head of the Financial Monitoring Center, scientific supervisor of the Master s program "International Economic Law" of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation V. Ponamorenko acquainted the seminar participants with the modern architecture of the FATF global network, organizational and legal basis for the implementation of the AML/CFT agenda at the global and regional levels.
During the workshop, the participants were able to familiarize themselves with relevant areas and effectiveness of the implementation of the FATF Recommendations in the national AML/CFT systems of the EAG member states, as well as analyze the main trends in the development of the AML/CFT system and current issues of the organization of the AML/CFT system in the crypto market.
