On July 8, 2022, a workshop on the topic "Practice of conducting national ML/TF risk assessment" was held on the basis of the ITMCFM.
Representatives of financial intelligence units, supervisory, law enforcement and other interested state bodies from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took part in the event, organized in the VC mode.
The workshop was conducted by the lecturer-expert E. Semenov, Deputy Head of the Risk Assessment Department of Rosfinmonitoring, who highlighted the issues of developing and applying the methodology of national risk assessment and the practice of its application. After his presentation, foreign colleagues shared their experience and best practices of conducting national ML/TF risk assessment applied in the activities of national state bodies.
