On September 21, 2022, on the threshold of the 2nd International Financial Security Olympiad, an international scientific and practical conference "Models of Financial Education: Experience and Development Trends" was held.
The conference was attended by representatives of financial intelligence units, educational institutions of the EAG member states, International Network AML/CFT Institute’s training and scientific organizations, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The conference participants discussed the development of work related to increasing the interest of the youth in the financial security and financial literacy topics, as well as the possibilities of obtaining knowledge and their practical application.
The General Director of the ITMCFM, M. Andronova, told about the project on studying the needs of the youth in improving the level of knowledge in the field of financial security: "Financial security: from theory to practice".
A detailed discussion of the announced projects and ideas is planned to be held within the framework of the events of the Olympiad final week.
