On 1-3 February, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Education Foresight: Revival of Traditions vs. Declared Innovation". The Federal Financial Monitoring Service, Moscow Exchange PJSC, and the International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM) acted as partners.
On February 2, the ITMCFM representatives participated in the section "Financial Market and Financial Security in the Era of Digital Changes: Education Model Challenges".
O. Ivanov, the First Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM, spoke about research of students financial security needs:
"More than 11,000 people - students of the International Network AML/CFT Institute - took part in the sociological survey conducted by our Centre together with the "NAFI" Analytical Centre. Among the main topics of greatest interest to them, young people identified information security of the individual in the financial sphere (78% of respondents) and virtual currencies (59%). The high pace of digitization in the financial sector and digital changes that accompany it require a comprehensive approach to the study of such issues. And such an approach is being implemented in the INI member universities, which train high-potential staff in the field of financial security."
