International Scientific and Practical Conference "Relevant Problems Related to Economic Security of the State and Business"

On April 28-29, 2022, the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management "NSUEM" hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Relevant Problems Related to Economic Security of the State and Business", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Interregional Department of Rosfinmonitoring for the Siberian Federal District. The event was co-organized by the International Training and Methodology Center for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM) and the International Network AML/CFT Institute.

At the Plenary session, which was attended by representatives of Rosfinmonitoring, ITMCFM, INI member universities and the banking sector, the Deputy Head of the Department for Coordination of Educational and Scientific Projects of the ITMCFM E. Butkeeva delivered a welcome speech. During the meeting, the issues related to countering the commission of crimes using cryptocurrencies, the security of financial market participants in modern conditions, the role of the insurance sector for the economic security of business and the 20th anniversary of the "anti-money laundering" system of the Siberian Federal District were highlighted.

Within the framework of the conference, five thematic sections were held, at which representatives of Russian and international INI universities, Interregional departments of Rosfinmonitoring, students and postgraduate students presented their reports:

Section 1: "Ensuring the economic security of the state, region, business: economic and legal aspects"

Section 2: "Financial security of the state in the context of global socio-economic shifts"

Section 3: "Modern challenges to the economic security of the state"

Section 4: "Ensuring the economic security of sectoral and regional development, business and personality"

Section 5: "Shadow economic activity, economic crime and legalization of criminal proceeds as threats to Russia s economic security"
