On October 5, 2022, face-to-face master classes "Quantum of Security" and "Transparent Blockchain: WHOSE CRYPTO IS IT?!" for second-year students of the RUDN Law Institute studying under the program "Legal regulation of financial monitoring and Compliance System" took place at the ITMCFM.
At the master class "Quantum of Security", with the support of the ITMCFM expert, the participants assessed the ML/TF risks of the clients of the primary financial monitoring entity, as well as the transaction they perform. After that, based on their findings, they prepared a suspicious transaction report for submission to Rosfinmonitoring.
As part of the master class "Transparent Blockchain: WHOSE CRYPTO IS IT?!" the students conducted three investigations, in which they detect illegal financial transactions related to the purchase of drugs, and financial transactions that make it possible to identify the beneficiaries of legalized funds received in cryptocurrency.
