A regular session of Tajik—Russian political consultations on cooperation in countering challenges and threats took place on January 20 in Dushanbe.
The delegations were led by Farrukh Sharifzoda and Sergey Vershinin, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, respectively.
The event also included representatives from both countries' relevant ministries and agencies.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged perspectives on enhancing regional security and stability.
Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration between Dushanbe and Moscow in countering challenges and threats through multilateral platforms such as the UN, CSTO, SCO, CIS, and others.
