Interdisciplinary Council for Coordination of Scientific and Methodological Support for Combating Corruption meets on Wednesday

Ivan Uvarov, ITMCFM Director General, spoke about the center’s activities at the meeting of the Interdisciplinary Council for Coordination of Scientific and Methodological Support for Combating Corruption.

The Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation hosted the meeting of the Interdisciplinary Council for Coordination of Scientific and Methodological Support for Combating Corruption on Wednesday, October 23. The meeting was chaired by Taliya Khabrieva, Director of the institute, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The meeting covered the agenda items of the forthcoming XIV Eurasian Anti-Corruption Forum, training and methodological activities of ITMCFM, designating scientific and educational papers on combating corruption as confidential, and the role played by experts in anti-corruption commissions.

Ivan Uvarov highlighted the importance of closer cooperation with the institute in the fields of drafting and publishing methodological materials and incorporating the results of the papers into the curricula of the International Network AML/CFT Institute.
