The first meeting of this year s International Financial Security Olympiad Executive Committee was held on January 30, 2023.
The meeting, organized in a hybrid format, was opened by the Head of the Executive Committee and Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Afanasyev. He congratulated those present on the start of a new Olympiad cycle.
Margarita Andronova, Director General of the ITMCFM (International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring), submitted proposals for the Action Plan (“roadmap”) to prepare for the Olympiad 2023:
"The document [“roadmap”] prepared has a number of innovations compared to previous years. On the one hand, we have tried to maintain the achieved positions (with their further development), and on the other hand, the Action Plan is conditioned by new benchmarks, in particular, the involvement of even more talented pupils and students in the Financial Security Olympiad movement, the formation of an effective system to identify, support and develop the abilities and talents of children and youth aimed at self-determination and professional orientation, primarily in the AML/CFT sphere."
