The XI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum began on May 11, with the Federal Financial Monitoring Service’s and the ITMCFM’s staff representing the Service.
The key objective of the Forum is to promote ideas for modernization of law in the context of ongoing global changes, including improved interaction of legal systems, development of common approaches to solving legal issues, facilitation of legal science and development of digital technologies in law, economics and public administration.
The event will last 3 days with strategic and expert sessions, discussion platforms and plenary session. The business program is divided into several sections:
- "Business and Investment in the Reality of Sanctions",
- "Digitalization: The Law of the Future or Future Law",
- "Justice and Dispute Resolution: New Realities and Horizons",
- "Law and Society",
- "Effective Law for an Effective State",
- "Sovereign Law in a Changing World".
State Secretary - Deputy Director of Rosfinmonitoring German Neglyad and Head of the Legal Department of the Service Olga Tisen will speak at the main program discussions.
Tomorrow, on the Forum s second day, there will be a SPILF-2023 plenary session "Sovereignty in Law", which will be attended by Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
