On May 30, during the exhibition events, the ITMCFM delegation visited Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University. The university is located in Al-Khobar (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
At the events’ opening, Vice-Rector of the University, Dr. Faisal Al-Anezi, welcomed the ITMCFM representatives.
The director of the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Center for Futuristic Studies, Muamar Salameh, along with teachers and students, showed the guests the university zone, campuses, classrooms, library, laboratories and sports complex. The students' diploma projects, including those created on a 3D printer, accompanying robots, a virtual reality-modeling laboratory with VR glasses, as well as an automated system for recording and issuing library books and training materials were presented to the ITMCFM delegation.
The ITMCFM representatives provided the university library with the ITMCFM textbook on the International AML/CFT/CPF System and Financial Security journal in English. The university expressed its readiness and interest to translate training materials into Arabic and exchange teaching aids.
In addition, a meeting was held with teachers from the University’s College of Business Administration, the Department of Human Resource Management, and the Department of Entrepreneurship and International Business.
During the meeting, the parties discussed international cooperation in AML/CFT staff training. ITMCFM invited the University to join the INI and presented large-scale joint projects of the INI, as well as educational opportunities in the areas of financial security and AML/CFT in the Russian Federation.
University representatives became interested in participation of Saudi Arabian students in the International Olympiad on Financial Security.
As part of the exhibition events, a thematic Lesson on Financial Security was held in Arabic and Graphus and Transparent Blockchain training services designed for analysts to conduct AML/CFT financial investigations were demonstrated.
Following the visit, the parties expressed their desire to further develop cooperation.
