From May 2nd to May 3rd, 2024, in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, the ITMCFM delegation participated in the meeting of donors and providers of technical assistance to Turkmenistan. The event organized by the Financial Monitoring Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan along with the EAG Secretariat brought together representatives from Turkmenistan government agencies, the EAG Secretariat, and interested donors and providers of technical assistance.
ITMCFM representatives confirmed the points outlined in the Plan on Technical Assistance to Turkmenistan, as articulated by the Russian Federation, and clarified the specifics of technical assistance.
Key areas of technical assistance will include the development of training aids and manuals, the formulation of regulations, and organization of training in both full-time and distance learning formats.
