A delegation from the Republic of Madagascar, led by the FIU Director General, visited the ITMCFM. The Malagasy AML/CFT Training Center’s Director also attended the meeting.
During their visit, foreign counterparts got familiarized with successful organization of comprehensive and continual AML/CFT training through the extensive network of INI universities and the International Olympiad on Financial Security.
They also became acquainted with the Graphus training platform and the ITMCFM’s distance learning system. Both offer opportunities to strengthen the national AML/CFT staff capacity.
The Malagasy delegation also learnt about the ITMCFM’s experience in developing training aids and manuals in cooperation with partner countries.
Subsequently, the participants mutually agreed to establish long-term collaboration in AML/CFT personnel training.
