On June 23-28, Singapore hosted the plenary week of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Russia’s delegation took part in the event.
Russia's status in the organization was maintained. Our country's membership is still suspended in line with the politicized decision taken in February 2023.
It should be noted that Russia continues to be an active member of the FATF global network, chairing the EAG and developing cooperation with a number of states reinforcing the security of the national and global financial systems.
Our country is committed to complying with the international AML/CFT/CPF standards. The Russian Federation's anti-money laundering system is demonstrating progress, as was confirmed by international experts last year when Russia's ratings on three FATF recommendations were upgraded.
