The plenary week of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) took place in Paris from February 17 through 21.
Discussions focused on measures to combat key threats, including money laundering, terrorist financing, and countering proliferation financing.
Following the session, Russia’s status within FATF remained unchanged. The country’s membership continues to be suspended based on a politicized decision made in February 2023. The FATF "blacklist" also remained unchanged.
