Federal Financial Monitoring Service’s Event Commemorating 79th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

ITMCFM staff attended the Victory Day celebration organized by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.

The Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, Yury Chikhanchin, congratulated the audience on the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In his speech, Mr. Chikhanchin emphasized the connection between generations and underscored the importance of preserving historical memory:

“Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers earned the Victory. When looking at photos of the war, I saw the sadness in many of their eyes—they went to the battlefront, uncertain of their fate. Yet, they believed that life would go on. Today, in these challenging times, we must remain united and strong and cherish the memory of the Soviet heroes.”

A minute’s silence was observed to honor the memory of the fallen warriors.

The guests enjoyed music and patriotic songs performed by seven-year-old Anastasia Kostina, the first-degree winner of the Korablik Detstva contest.

Following the ceremonial part of the event, attendees were invited to enjoy hot tea and soldier’s porridge at the traditional field kitchen.
