Under the chairmanship of German Neglyad, State Secretary and Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, ITMCFM convened a meeting with compliance experts from leading Russian banks.
The agenda for the final week of the IV International Olympiad on Financial Security, scheduled for this October at the Sirius Federal Territory, was a primary focus.
Compliance officers traditionally take active part in the Olympiad finals by participating in panel discussions, conducting workshops for finalists, and showcasing best practices and leading cases from banking practitioners.
In his welcoming remarks, Oleg Ivanov, First Deputy Director General of ITMCFM, highlighted the growing interest among young people around the world in the International Olympiad on Financial Security. He noted that the geographical scope of the Olympiad has expanded fivefold over the past four years.
In addition, an awarding ceremony was held during the meeting to recognize bank representatives with commendation letters from the Federal Financial Monitoring Service for their active participation and contributions to the 2023 Olympiad.
