On August 19, 2022, a workshop was held on the basis of the ITMCFM for financial intelligence units (FIUs), supervisory and other interested state bodies of the EAG member states on the topic "The Practice of Supervisory Bodies in Control of Reporting Entities".
The workshop is aimed at the exchange of experience and best practices between the competent authorities of the states of the Eurasian region on the activities of supervisory authorities for the control of reporting entities. The initiators of the event held in a remote format were the FIUs of the Republics of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
T. Benya, a representative of the Division on Risk Monitoring of Reporting Entities of the Supervision Activities Department of Rosfinmonitoring, delivered a lecture, explaining the existing practice of regulation and supervision by the authorized bodies of the EAG member states in the field of AML/CFT for reporting entities, as well as the methodology for ranking sanctions and their application to supervised organizations.
At the end of the course, a round table was held, during which a constructive exchange of views took place, where colleagues from the states of the Eurasian region shared their experience in monitoring reporting entities.
The participants of the training event of the EAG member states noted the high level of organization of the workshop, as well as the relevance and practical usefulness of the materials.
