On September 12, 2022, the ITMCFM together with the Federal Tax Service held a workshop "Practical AML/CFT Skills in the Crypto Market".
About 30 public officials of the Federal Tax Service took part in the training event.
The invited expert lecturer of the ITMCFM, the head of the “Transparent Blockchain” project, A. Yurov, focused on the following issues in his speech:
the main approaches to the use of blockchain technology, types and features of blockchain;
- smart contracts: their types, opportunities of organization, application and vulnerabilities, as well as international application experience.
During the workshop, a brainstorming session was also organized for the participants, where they shared ideas on the use of blockchain technology in order to increase tax accounting and collection in AML/CFT activities.
