On August 5, 2022, the ITMCFM held a workshop in the VC mode on the topic “Risk Assessment of DNFBPs” for employees of financial intelligence units, supervisory, law enforcement and other interested state bodies of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
A lecture on the practice of sectoral ML/TF risk assessment, risk assessment of the subject in relation to the DNFBPs, as well as self-assessment of ML/TF risks in the activities of the DNFBPs and measures to minimize risks was delivered by a leading specialist-expert of the Division on Risk Monitoring of Reporting Entities of the Supervision Activities Department of Rosfinmonitoring Ya. Bayrachnaya.
After her presentation, foreign colleagues shared their experience and best practices in conducting risk assessment of DNFBPs used in the activities of national government agencies.
