On June 17, 2022, the workshop "Risk Assessment of Terrorist Financing in the Non-Profit Organizations Sector" for employees of financial intelligence units, supervisory authorities, law enforcement agencies and other interested state bodies of the EAG member states was held at the ITMCFM via videoconferencing.
The training event is aimed at familiarizing with the best experience and best practices between the competent authorities of the EAG member states on countering the misuse of non-profit organizations (NPOs) for TF purposes.
The workshop was conducted by the Head of the Department for Financial Analysis and Proactive Financial Investigations, CFT Directorate of Rosfinmonitoring, I. Kornev. The participants shared their experience of conducting risk assessment of the NPO sector, confirmed the relevance of the topic, expressed interest in further training and identified the most priority topics.
