Rosfinmonitoring representatives discuss cooperation with Indonesian financial intelligence officials

State Secretary and Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, German Neglyad, and Alexey Petrenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department, traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia, for a working visit, where they met with Tuti Irman, Deputy Head of the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (INTRAC), along with other financial intelligence officials. 

Discussions focused on bilateral cooperation in addressing common risks and threats related to money laundering and terrorist financing, joint participation in events and projects, and personnel training.

Rosfinmonitoring representatives visited the Indonesian Financial Intelligence Institute (IFII), where they met with its head, Ahyar Effendi. Talks centered on preparations for the next round of mutual evaluations through the exchange of best practices between training centers in Russia and Indonesia. 

German Neglyad invited Indonesian colleagues to participate in Russia-initiated projects, including the International Olympiad on Financial Security and the International Movement on Financial Security. The meeting was also attended by Nikita Shilikov, Head of the Russian House in Indonesia, and representatives of the Russian Embassy in Indonesia. 

Additionally, the Russian delegation presented its foreign partners with the Transparent Blockchain digital service for monitoring cryptocurrency transactions.
