On November 9, 2022, a joint practical training of the ITMCFM/CIS ATC (Anti-Terrorism Center) "New challenges and current risks of terrorist financing in the Eurasian region" was launched in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic).
The first day of the event was held in the format of three sections with the participants divided into target audiences – financial intelligence units, law enforcement agencies and international experts.
The sections of financial intelligence representatives and international experts were presented with the Russian experience of countering the misuse of NPOs for the purpose of terrorism financing. Capabilities of the “Graphus” educational system were also demonstrated followed by conducting financial investigation based on practical cases.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies were presented with material on the experience of identifying and countering the manipulation of individual and group consciousness in the socio-cultural space in the conditions of information anomie.
A business game was also held in this section, during which participants identified tools for the formation of specific conditions in the network space that change the interpretation of political life with the help of digital stigmatization technologies.
