Public Lecture at the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan "How Not to Fall Victim to Financial Fraudsters".

On February 27, 2022, in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) ITMCFM experts conducted a test lesson to prepare for the launch of a Thematic lesson on financial security "How Not to Become a Victim of Financial Fraudsters".  

At the event, which was held as an interactive public lecture, pupils learned about:

  • types of financial fraud
  • personal data and, in particular, personal identification through biometrics
  • digital identity
  • rules of digital hygiene
  • about basic safety rules in online games

 

The children were also able to take part in an exciting quiz, testing their knowledge acquired during the lecture.

Marina Shemyakina, Deputy Head of ITMCFM Department: "Many high school students are already thinking about adulthood, how to choose a good career and how to achieve their plans and dreams. Not least, it is important to be financially independent and to know how to manage their money. Finance is all around us and it is important for each of us to know the basic rules to use it safely"
