On September 20, 2023 the awarding ceremony for the winners of the Everyone is Aware Contest was held at the Lebedev Physical Institute of RAS.
The Everyone is Aware Contest is organized by the Lebedev Physical Institute of RAS and ITMCFM, with support of Promsvyazbank and INI. Its aim is to generate the best ideas for financial security educational content and foster a professional community of educators and mentors.
Among the contestants were university and college students, as well as teachers and professionals in national AML/CFT systems. They submitted their videos covering both natural science and humanitarian aspects of financial security. The jury selected the winners who demonstrated a profound understanding of the subject matter and a creative approach to material presentation.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Ms. Margarita Andronova, ITMCFM Director General, Mr. Oleg Ivanov, ITMCFM First Deputy Director General, and Mr. Vladimir Ovchinnikov, ITMCFM First Deputy Director General – Director of INI.
Winners and prize winners of the contest were presented with honorary certificates by Mr. Yury Chikhanchin, Director of Federal Financial Monitoring Service, Mr. Oleg Barybin, First Deputy Chairman of Promsvyazbank, and Mr. Nikolay Kolachevsky, Director of the Lebedev Physical Institute.
Mr. Yury Chikhanchin, Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service congratulated the winners and highlighted the substantial scope of the Sodruzhestvo platform’s potential audience, which has engaged more than 6 million schoolchildren and students in the international Olympiad movement over the past 3 years.
Following the award ceremony, participants together with Mr. Alexey Yurov, representative of the Lebedev Physical Institute, discussed the impact of digital technologies and cryptocurrencies on modern life, the new societal opportunities they offer, and the associated risks.
