International Exhibition "Education and Career in AML/CFT" at Tashkent State University of Economics, April 21-22, 2022, Day two

The second day was dedicated to students and pupils, their prospects for obtaining education in the area of AML/CFT. More than 200 participants of the exhibition gathered at the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE): teachers, students, pupils and their parents.

The guests were welcomed by the Director of Rosfinmonitoring Yu. Chikhanchin, Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM I. Shilina, head of the Russian House in Tashkent M.Vozhdaev and representatives of ministries and agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Director of Rosfinmonitoring Yu. Chikhanchin, whose welcoming speech was read by I. Shilina, noted: "The choice of profession and further development path is one of the key moments in every person s life, determining his/her self-identification and vector of development. All roads and opportunities are open for you, the younger generation. And if you are ready to influence the future of your country with your further actions, we are waiting for you in the ranks of AML/CFT professionals!"

The event participants were waiting for lectures, master classes and video tutorials on financial security from teachers of the INI member universities of Russia and the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists of the financial intelligence unit of the Republic of Uzbekistan, experts of Rosfinmonitoring and international experts.

Students and pupils became very interested in conducting virtual investigation via the "Graphus" training game simulator. Under the leadership of the representatives of the ITMCFM, they were able to live "One Day of a Financial Intelligence Officer" and independently solve a crime in the AML/CFT sphere.

The special guests of the exhibition were graduates of the INI universities, participants and prize-winners of the 2021 International Financial Security Olympiad from the Republic of Uzbekistan. They told about their training and professional development, shared their experience of participating in the Olympiad.

The exhibition space organized by the INI was open throughout the day: seven Russian and seven Uzbek universities. Here, pupils and their parents had the opportunity to watch presentations and videos of leading higher education institutions of Russia and the Republic of Uzbekistan, communicate with their representatives about training programs and admission conditions.

The results of the exhibition were summed up by I. Shilina, Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM, F. Ochilov, Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and K. Sharipov, Rector of TSUE.
