On April 21, 2022, the international educational exhibition "Education and Career in AML/CFT", organized by the International Network AML/CFT Institute jointly with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, began its work.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the presentation of B. Tursunov s book "Economic Security" took place, and two working meetings were held in the format of round tables for representatives of ministries and agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Network AML/CFT Institute’s member universities and the International Training and Methodology Center for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM).
The first working meeting, organized for representatives of the INI member universities and the ITMCFM, was aimed at solving the issues of integration of AML/CFT academic disciplines into the educational process, implementation of AML/CFT professional higher education programs, cooperation between the INI member universities to achieve this goal and formation of a pool of experts and INI Educational Board. The participants of the round table paid special attention to the International Financial Security Olympiad.
At the second working meeting, the issues related to holding the International Financial Security Olympiad in 2022 and the admission campaign to universities of the Russian Federation were considered, including the selection of candidates for admission to the INI member universities according to the quota of Rosfinmonitoring. Representatives of the Department of Economic Security under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Russian House in Tashkent and the ITMCFM took part in the discussion.
