"Education and Career in the Area of AML/CFT" at Tajik National University, September 15-16, 2022, Day 1

On September 15, 2022, the international exhibition of the International Network AML/CFT Institute "Education and Career in the Area of AML/CFT" started at the Tajik National University.

 

The event in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan) was the third of a series of educational exhibitions held by the International Network AML/CFT Institute this year (previous exhibitions took place in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic). The organizers, together with the INI, were the International Training and Methodology Center for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM) and the Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Within the framework of the exhibition events, working meetings of the representatives of the agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan, ITMCFM and the International Network AML/CFT Institute’s member universities took place.

Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Tajik National University Gafforzoda Ilesjon Gafor, representative of the Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan Murodov Firuz Alijonovich, Chief Expert of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Tajikistan Abdullina Laysan Nailevna and representatives of the ITMCFM discussed the upcoming final stage of the 2022 International Financial Security Olympiad and the 2023 admission campaign to universities of the Russian Federation, including the selection of candidates for admission to the Russian universities of the International Network AML/CFT Institute according to the quota of Rosfinmonitoring and the formation of working groups for conducting a selection.

The working meeting between the ITMCFM, the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Tajikistan and the INI member universities was aimed at developing cooperation in the implementation of higher education programs in the field of AML/CFT, as well as at studying the issues of forming a unified approach to implementation.
