International Exhibition "Education and Career in AML/CFT" at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin, Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), June 6-7, 2022, Day 2

On June 7th, 2022, more than 200 pupils and students gathered at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin. A large program has been prepared for them, which allows the future specialists to familiarize themselves with the peculiarities of training and subsequent work in the field of financial security.

Opening the exhibition, the welcome speech for guests and participants was delivered by the:

Chairman of the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic K. Turgunbekov,

Acting Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Bishkek A. Zulkharneev,

Director of the Training and Methodology Center of the State Financial Intelligence Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic L. Omurbekova,

Vice-Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin V. Lelevkin,

Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM I. Shilina.

In the large hall for the event guests, the report of the ITMCFM expert N. Bogonostsev on the topic "Find yourself in financial intelligence" was presented and a video tutorial on financial security from the expert of Rosfinmonitoring O. Tisen was demonstrated.

In separate halls, pupils and students were waiting for lectures on the prospects of financial intelligence profession and the correct personnel assessment, master classes on cryptocurrencies, financial literacy as the basis of personal financial security and the rules for using loan funds. Lectures and master classes were conducted by leading teachers of the International Network AML/CFT Institute’s member universities and representatives of the ITMCFM. In the "question and answer" format, the participants asked questions and clarified their points of interest.

The exhibition participants became very interested in conducting virtual financial investigation via the "Graphus" training game simulator. Under the leadership of the representative of the ITMCFM, pupils and students united in teams and succeeded in independently solving the proposed criminal cases in the area of AML/CFT.

The exhibition space with the presentation stands of the INI member universities was open all day. University representatives met applicants and told them about AML/CFT training programs and admission conditions. A valuable experience for pupils and students became the opportunity to personally communicate with the invited graduates of the INI member universities, participants and prize winners of the 2021 International Financial Security Olympiad from the Kyrgyz Republic.

At the closure of the exhibition, the results of the joint work were summarized and awards were presented to the team of students who showed the best result in conducting financial investigation. The participants warmly thanked the representatives of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin and the organizers of the exhibition for the high level of preparation, holding and technical support of the event, noted the demand for such a format of communication with pupils and students, and also expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation.
