On April 4, ITMCFM organized a traditional in-person advanced training course for the International Network AML/CFT Institute’s teachers.
Vladimir Ovchinnikov, First Deputy Director General of the ITMCFM - Director of the International Network AML/CFT Institute, and Irina Shilina, Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM gave a welcome speech.
Previous years’ training courses were aimed to build the vocational competence of AML/CFT teachers, while this year’s course on the topic "Staffing of National AML/CFT Systems" has the form of a value-based and communicative forum.
"This year’s advanced training course program takes the form of a value-based and communicative forum. The program's goal is to answer the question: "What personal qualities should a future specialist in financial security have?" For this purpose, we have brought together experts from the academic and scientific communities, government authorities, and private sector on a unified platform," said Irina Shilina.
The first day's program included speeches by representatives of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law, "Promsvyazbank" PJSC and "Tinkoff Bank" JSC on the following topics:
- Value-based and communicative guidelines in AML/CFT training programs;
- Educational program "Sodruzhestvo" as a career guidance tool to work with future AML/CFT specialists;
- AML/CFT system personnel. Selection criteria for civil servants, career paths and human resources risks;
- Corporate culture and effective communication when implementing financial sector human resources policy in the AML/CFT system.
In addition, a representative of “Promsvyazbank” PJSC announced competition "Vse v kurse" (“Everyone’s aware”), which will enable selection of the best ideas and proposals to create educational content for "Sodruzhestvo" platform on topics related to financial security.
