Dmitry Chernyshenko and Yury Chikhanchin met with Olympiad finalists

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, and Yury Chikhanchin, Director of Rosfinmonitoring, met with the finalists of the IV International Olympiad on Financial Security during the Talks as Equals session, answering their questions.

Chernyshenko also presented the Cup of Four Continents to the winners, Team Wolves, who earned the opportunity to compete in the finals of the All-Russian Phygital Games 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized Russia’s leadership in developing phygital sports, noting the success of the Games of the Future, which took place with the support of President Vladimir Putin and became one of the year's most significant sporting events. He further announced that the second edition of the Games would be held in the United Arab Emirates in autumn of 2025.

“This format, supported by our President, is gaining traction globally. The Global Phygital Community, now comprising over 76 countries that host phygital competitions in the Games of the Future format, has been established, with Russia as an active member,” the Deputy Prime Minister remarked.

In an open dialogue, Olympiad participants and the speakers discussed the ongoing development of the International Financial Security Movement, the Olympiad, and the Sodruzhestvo platform, as well as the growing traditions originating from the Olympiad. They also explored ways to popularize the Financial Security Movement, the role of ambassadors, and other related topics.

Yury Chikhanchin, Director of Rosfinmonitoring, drew the participants’ attention to the opportunities offered by the Sodruzhestvo platform that unites young people from 70 countries. The communication platform will enable engaging a greater number of them in the initiative elaboration. The contribution of the Movement ambassadors to its popularization is also highly important.

“It’s one thing to say ‘I’m an ambassador,’ but it’s much harder to lead by example. You are young and talented, and I’m confident you can take on this important mission and promote the Movement in your home countries. You’ve already proven your expertise here at the Olympiad, and I believe you will share it with your peers. Together, we will build a community of young people capable of standing against financial crime,” Yury Chikhanchin said.

The event concluded with a "gratitude session," where participants expressed their thanks in their native languages.
