The ITMCFM team participated in the Moscow-Rzhev rally on the eve of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. The final destination was the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier in the Tver Region.
During the rally, participants marched to the memorial, carrying photos of their war veteran relatives. They observed a Minute of Silence to honor the memory of the fallen troops, laid flowers at the memorial, and raised a 50-meter-long St. George’s Ribbon.
City guests visited the Rzhev branch of the Victory Museum and the Stalin’s Headquarters Museum, where they learned about the history of the Rzhev Region’s occupation and liberation battles. The Memorial to the Soviet Soldier honors soldiers who died in battles near Rzhev during the Great Patriotic War (1942-1943).
