The meeting of the International Network AML/CFT Institute’s Council commemorating the Institute’s 10th anniversary took place within the Olympiad finals.
Mr. Anatoly Seryshev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District, and Mr. Yury Chikhanchin, Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, and Chairman of the INI Council opened the meeting by delivering a welcome speech.
The Council speakers presented reports concerning the III International Financial Security Olympiad and the Sodruzhestvo digital platform, designed to unite schoolchildren, students, faculty, and expert practitioners in the field of financial security. The participants considered the issues of the platform creation, prospects of its development, and preparation of professional and interesting content.
INI member universities learned about the results of the Vse v kurse (Everyone Is Aware) contest, primarily aimed at identifying prospective authors to create educational programs and courses for the platform. Subsequently, the authors, whose works received high acclaim from the expert jury, were awarded.
Ms. Margarita Andronova, Director General of the ITMCFM, in her address dedicated to the administrative matters of the Sodruzhestvo platform, underscored the significance of professionalism and high-quality information contributed by experts for the platform.
The event concluded with the formal signing of the Minutes, marking the inclusion of new members into INI, and with an award ceremony honoring individuals for their contributions to the INI and the International Financial Security Olympiad movement development.
