On September 15, 2022, the ITMCFM, together with the Federal Customs Service, organized a workshop "Rules for Preparing Requests from the Russian Law Enforcement Agencies through Information Exchange with Foreign Financial Intelligence Units, Taking into Account the Regulatory Documents of the Egmont Group."
N. Pervysheva, Deputy Head of the International Information Exchange Department, International Relations Directorate of Rosfinmonitoring, acted as an invited expert lecturer. The participants – employees of the Federal Customs Service – got acquainted with the main issues of bilateral cooperation and the possibilities of Rosfinmonitoring within the framework of specialized international cooperation with foreign financial intelligence units. Special attention was paid to practical aspects of interaction with foreign FIUs and examples of laundering of criminal proceeds through trade operations.
