The V International Olympiad on Financial Security is about to begin, with thematic lessons for school, college, and university students starting on February 1.
The topic for 2025 is Not Child's Play: Money Mules against Their Will. It will be explored through sessions held at educational institutions in Russia and abroad.
Students will examine modern financial fraud schemes and learn protective measures, including how artificial intelligence is being exploited for criminal activities, the risks associated with money muling, and why it is not “easy money” but rather complicity in crime.
Session materials will be made available on the Sodruzhestvo International Social and Educational Digital Platform in Russian, English, and other languages.
The platform will additionally host the Invitation stage of the V International Olympiad on Financial Security, taking place from February 1 through February 28, 2025. The Olympiad is primarily open to school students in grades 8-11, as well as college and university students. All participants who successfully complete the tasks in the invitation stage will receive a certificate. To take part, please register on the platform.
