The seminar “Simulation Training for National Team Preparing for EAG Third Round of Mutual Evaluations” opened in Dushanbe on June 8, 2026. ITMCFM organized the seminar at the National Bank of Tajikistan.
Among the participants were representatives of government authorities and the private sector of the Republic of Tajikistan who are members of the national team preparing for the next round of mutual evaluations. Experts from Rosfinmonitoring and other competent authorities of the Russian Federation were invited to conduct the training.
The four-day programme covers the EAG and FATF Methodology requirements for national risk assessments and mutual evaluations. It also addresses the assessment of preventive measures in AML/CFT/CPF, the use of financial intelligence and international cooperation, the investigation and prosecution of ML and TF offences, confiscation and asset recovery.
Separate sessions cover preparations for and approaches to interviews with assessors during the on-site mission. Participants will also take part in mock interviews involving experts and representatives of Tajik government authorities and conduct a horizontal analysis of mutual evaluation reports.
The practical simulation training aims to strengthen the readiness of the national team of the Republic of Tajikistan for the EAG third round of mutual evaluations. It will also improve coordination among the authorities involved and the quality of materials submitted.
The event is being held in conjunction with EAG Secretariat training on preparing an assessed country for a mutual evaluation.
