The meeting was chaired by ITMCFM Director Ivan Uvarov. It brought together heads and staff of national AML/CFT/CPF training and methodology centers, as well as representatives of the EAG Secretariat.
The event focused on launching the work of the Association’s Project Groups:
- Project Group on Development of a Unified Competency Framework
- Project Group on International Certification
- Project Group on Analysis of the State of National Training Mechanisms for Specialists of National AML/CFT Systems
- Project Group on Cooperation among Association Members in AML/CFT
Association members discussed the operational procedures and scope of activities of the Project Groups. They also agreed on the stages of their work and the interaction framework.
Organizational matters and short-term work plans for 2026 were also outlined and agreed.
