The stages of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security are beginning.
Starting February 10, thematic Financial Security lessons will be held for school and university students.
These lessons traditionally open the new Olympiad cycle each year. They serve as an important stage of immersion into the Olympiad subject matter. They help participants familiarize themselves in advance with key concepts, emerging risks and the logic of competition tasks. Lesson materials are available not only to Olympiad participants but also to anyone interested in financial security.
In 2026, the theme of the lesson is “The Dark Side of Artificial Intelligence”.
Alongside its benefits, the development of artificial intelligence creates new risks related to financial fraud. The lesson will help build awareness of these threats and develop skills for responsible interaction with AI technologies.
Students will learn about the use of AI in fraud schemes, the creation of fake messages, websites and automated “robot” calls, identity substitution through deepfake technology, personal data protection, and the formation of a user’s digital footprint on the Internet.
The thematic lessons will be held at educational institutions in regions of Russia and in foreign countries.
The materials will also be published on the Olympiad website and on the Sodruzhestvo platform in Russian, English and other languages.
