The Association of Press Services of Financial Intelligence Units of the Member States of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (EAG) has announced the launch of the Journalists’ Competition and invites media representatives to submit entries on financial security.
The Competition aims to strengthen cooperation between financial intelligence units and the media, promote financial security and increase public interest in anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.
Entries will be accepted from June 10 to August 15. Materials may be submitted in three categories: television video reports; articles published in print media or online; and radio audio reports.
The Competition is open to journalists from the EAG member states: Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Competition entries should be sent to pr@fedsfm.ru.
The winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. The award ceremony will take place during the 45th EAG Plenary Session in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan.
