Seminar for representatives of training organizations from EAG member states that are part of the International Association of Training and Methodology Centers

On 23 March, ITMCFM hosted, via videoconference, a seminar on developing AML/CFT teacher-experts competencies, including those in AML/CFT and teaching methodology.

The seminar was delivered by Sergey Brovchak, a representative of an INI member university and Associate Professor at the Department of Insurance and Social Economy of the Faculty of Finance at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of organizations from EAG member states took part in the event, including participants from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The main objective of the seminar was to exchange best practices in order to develop common approaches to the training process.

During the training, participants reviewed the evolution of the National Qualifications System (NQS) for AML/CFT specialists, including:

  • the qualifications framework, its main characteristics and functions;
  • the creation of an effective qualifications system through the alignment of professional education with the labour market;
  • priorities and challenges in the development of qualifications in the Russian Federation in view of the introduction of modern technologies.

They also discussed best practices of foreign national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and the body of knowledge, skills and competencies that enable an educator to design, deliver and analyze the educational process effectively.

The event concluded with a discussion and a summary of the results.
