From November 10 to 14, 2025, the EAG Secretariat conducted an assessor training program at ITMCFM in Moscow. The event was attended by 33 representatives from 12 countries, including from EAG member states — Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan — as well as from Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF) (Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates).
Experts from competent authorities received both theoretical and practical training on the updated FATF Methodology, the FATF Universal Procedures, and the EAG Procedures.
The training was conducted by EAG Secretariat officials using FATF-developed training materials and hosted on ITMCFM platform.
The Secretariat will continue to train assessors and AML/CFT/CPF experts for the third round of mutual evaluations.
