On May 14, a coordination meeting was convened in the city of Mikhaylov, Ryazan region, under the chairmanship of Yury Chikhanchin, Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, to discuss the development of the International Movement on Financial Security and its promotion across the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by Pavel Malkov, Governor of Ryazan region; Vladimir Ovchinnikov, First Deputy Director General of the ITMCFM and Director of INI; representatives of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, the regional government, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Sretensky Theological Academy.
In his address, Mr. Chikhanchin stressed the importance of educational outreach among young people in light of threats such as the involvement of minors in illegal activities. He underscored that the International Movement on Financial Security serves as a platform to unite civically engaged youth from various countries and regions of Russia:
"It is encouraging to witness the enthusiasm of school and university students regarding financial security and fraud prevention, as well as their eagerness to acquire new knowledge. It is equally important that the participants and ambassadors of our Movement are united by shared spiritual and moral values and common principles."
As part of the event, participants visited the Mikhaylov Boarding College of Economics, where specialized thematic sessions were held for students, focusing on issues of financial security and the development of moral resilience.
The Choir of the Sretensky Theological Academy also delivered a concert performance.
Established in Moscow in September 2024, the International Movement on Financial Security now brings together young people from more than 70 countries. As part of its initiatives, a pilot project has been launched to promote Russia’s cultural and historical heritage among the Movement’s members.
