
A training course conducted by the EAG Secretariat was aimed at developing skills required for participation in mutual evaluations, including:
- conducting an overview analysis of risks and context;
- analysing materials on technical compliance and effectiveness;
- interviewing competent authorities;
- drafting the mutual evaluation report and recommended actions to improve the AML/CFT/CPF system of the assessed country.
The training brought together 34 specialists from competent authorities of all EAG member states. The Russian Federation was represented by experts from the Federal Financial Monitoring Service and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Participants studied the theoretical components of the course and completed practical exercises.
Upon completion of the training, the participants will be included in the pool of experts eligible to take part in mutual evaluation missions.
The event was held in implementation of the EAG Work Plan for 2025–2026 and the EAG Strategy for 2024–2028, in preparation of member states for the third round of mutual evaluations.
