From 6 through 10 April 2026, ITMCFM hosted an in-depth FATF Standards training organized by the EAG Secretariat for specialists of financial intelligence units and representatives of law enforcement authorities from EAG member states.
The training brought together 43 experts from FIUs, prosecutor’s offices, police forces, customs, and security services of seven Eurasian countries.
The program offered a systematic review of AML/CFT/PF international requirements and practical exercises on national implementation.
Special emphasis on the Methodology for assessing technical compliance with the FATF Recommendations and the effectiveness of AML/CFT/CPF regimes will help specialists prepare more effectively for mutual evaluations and for internal monitoring of the quality of national systems.
The training was held as part of the EAG Work Plan for 2025-2026.
