On July 22, the International Association of Training and Methodology Centers of EAG Member States held its regular intersessional meeting. The meeting was chaired by ITMCFM Director General Ivan Uvarov and brought together representatives of the Association’s member organisations and invited representatives of the EAG Secretariat.
Participants discussed involving assessors in the Association’s training activities and an initiative to hold a strategic session to develop unified approaches to training specialists for national anti-money laundering systems.
Following the meeting, participants identified further steps to implement these proposals and continue joint work to develop the human resource capacity of national AML/CFT systems.
