On February 16, a two-day seminar entitled “Conducting Risk Assessment in the NPO Sector”.
Implementation of Recommendation 8 in light of amendments to the FATF Methodology for Assessing Technical Compliance with the FATF Recommendations and the Effectiveness of AML/CFT/CPF Systems held via videoconference for FIUs and relevant public authorities of the Eurasian region.
During the first day of the programme, participants discussed the following issues:
- assessing risks in the NPO sector, focusing on identifying high-risk organizations;
- implementing FATF Recommendation 8, taking into account the latest amendments to the FATF Methodology.
Thematic presentations on national experience in this area were delivered by representatives of Tajikistan and Belarus.
