On November 23, 2017 in Moscow the III International Scientific and Research Conference “FinTech and RegTech: Possibilities, Threats and Risks of Financial Technologies” terminated.
The event was wrapped up by the Rosfinmonitoring Deputy Director Vladimir Glotov and Director of the network AML/CFT Institute Vladimir Ovchinnikov during the Conference’s official closing ceremony that took place in the State University of Management.
V. Ovchinnikov: «The resource provided by the universities of the network AML/CFT Institute for the Conference is highly valuable. That’s why I would like to thank all the representatives of the educational institutions».
The Director of the network AML/CFT Institute appreciated MEPhI’s readiness to publish the digest of the Conference participants’ articles which are over 500 in number. He also informed on the scheduled release of the forum’s materials in Russian, English and Chinese languages on the platform of the Fudan University – participants of the network Institute from the People’s Republic of China.
The Deputy Director of Rosfinmonitoring in his speech addressed the students that took part in the Conference:
V. Glotov: «There is a famous Chinese saying – the longest journey starts with the first step. I wish all the participants of the Conference that have already made the first step towards their profession, to achieve good results, following this long and difficult road».
The final meeting concluded with awarding ceremony of the participants-winners in sports competitions that had been held within the Conference Student Forum. The first prize was given to the team of the National Research Nuclear Institute MEPhI, the second – to the team of Moscow Finance and Law University MFUA, the third – to the team of the State University of Management. Vladimir Glotov presented to the winners the commemorative cups and diplomas.
Within the Student Forum a video-contest on AML/CFT was organized. The winners became the teams of the Pacific State University and MEPhI.
